Parco Zoo

Punta Verde Lignano

Leepard
Which animal is it?

Who does not always want to fry in the sun, or wants his children offer a welcome change, try this place: The zoo in Lignano. Of African ostrich to white-naped crane it shows quite a number of animals is assembled, some of which you've probably never heard of. Or do you know what is a fennec fox? Or Capyibara? (which looks very funny by the way).

Rawwwr!

The zoo is laid out very carefully and offers a number of really interesting trails (hence it is also often visited by school groups). The basis of all this is to awaken awareness for the nature, its beauty and diversity.

Please note: Do not bring animals into the zoo. Dogs can be given in custody free of charge.

The website of the zoo is also available in English and quite informative. Who wants to can take a first glimpse on the Youtube channel.
